Three new appointments at national property and housing firm

Press release:

A national property and housing firm that tackles the housing crisis and homelessness has further strengthened its team with the appointment of three new people across its management and finance departments.

National Housing Group (NHG), works with housing associations, local authorities and charities, such as Social Interest Group and Riverside Housing, nationwide to provide high-quality social housing to vulnerable adults who often find it challenging to secure a property.

Since 2020, NHG has housed more than 100 people in completed high quality social housing units, and currently has another 100 units currently under construction.

The property group provides social housing of a very high quality which always goes above and beyond the industry standard and has a big focus on sustainability.

Dylan Hill joined NHG’s finance team as senior accountant in July 2022. Dylan said: “Having previously worked in an accountancy practice for 10 years after joining as an apprentice and working my way up to client manager, I’m really excited about a change of sector.”

Dylan is responsible for financial reporting, book-keeping, cash flow management, budgeting and statutory reporting.

Kunal Karadia also joined NHG in July as property manager, and he has already toured most of the current NHG portfolio of properties.

Kunal previously worked in the industry as a self-employed property consultant and negotiator, he is bringing his experience, energy and enthusiasm to the role.

Kunal said: “It means a lot to be able to make such a difference to people every day in the work that we do at NHG. A property means so much to people, whether it’s privately owned or a social property for those who were formerly homeless

“I feel privileged to be able to put my property knowledge to such good use and work towards building the best standards of social housing and helping place vulnerable people somewhere they can call home.”

Finally, NHG has also recently welcomed Tracey Goldlaing to the team, who has joined as executive assistant to CEO, Stephen Wasserman

Within her role at National Housing Group, Tracey will be working with Stephen and the rest of the team, using her expert organisational skills to ensure workflow, processes and systems are working efficiently.

National Housing Group’s founder and CEO said: “We are thrilled to be able to continue the growth and development of NHG and to have added such talented people across different areas of the company.

“Each of our new recruits bring their own areas of expertise to the business and we have already seen a significant impact at NHG since their appointments.

“Drive to make a change is a crucial part of what we look for when welcoming new people to the team, and Dylan, Kunal and Tracey are all great examples of this. I am so excited for their futures at NHG.”
