NHG has been selected as a finalist for two prestigious industry awards

We are thrilled to announce that we have been selected as a finalist in not one, but two categories at the prestigious Property Week RESI awards 2023.

We have been shortlisted in the ‘Landlord of the Year (Private and Social)’  and ‘Social Impact Initiative – Residential’ categories for our work last year providing affordable and safe homes for those who are homeless or at the risk of homelessness.

As part of our Green Homes Initiative, we are working towards providing better and more environmentally friendly social housing. We ensure that the houses we provide are cost effective for the tenant which gives them the opportunity to lead a safe and happy life.

Our CEO, Stephen Wasserman said: “It’s very exciting to be announced as finalists in two award categories and the whole NHG team is really looking forward to hearing the results. We hope we can bring it home for our community.”

Our partnerships have led to remarkable results where our tenants have improved mental health, more freedom of their finances, and a better lifestyle.

Stephen commented: “Our tenants are able to spend money on nice things like transport to see family or healthier food through the money that we can help save in their bills”.

This impact has been felt by our tenants, one of whom said: “I have everything I need here, I am actually very blessed that I found this place, and I would give it five stars, in fact, I would give the staff six if I could”.

These stories are the real prize for the work that we do and the difference we strive to make to the vulnerable people in our community. We are beyond grateful that our work is being recognised on this platform. These awards will only motivate us to do a better job for the communities we support, and share our mission with a wider audience.

“While we work hard to deliver environmentally friendly and cost effective social housing and all-round good property management, the sole driver for us is better outcomes for vulnerable people,” said Stephen.

The winners will be announced on May 10th at an event at Grosvenor House Hotel in London. All finalists will be invited and judged by a panel of independent judges.

We are very excited for the awards day and look forward to meeting industry friends and celebrating everyone’s achievements.
